Rules and regulations:-

​

1. Teams not following dimensional criteria shall be disqualified.

2. The BOT should not damage the arena else the team will be disqualified.

4. Robot should not leave the track.

5. Only one person will be allowed to control the robot around the arena.

6. The BOT must use only electrical power as source of energy. Use of Compressed gas, fuels, chemicals etc. is prohibited. Lead acid batteries are allowed.

7. All kind of pushers, plungers, etc. can be used but it should not be bounded (i.e the plunger or fork etc. should be open from at least one side).

8. Robot should navigate along the track with the ball.

9. The decision of Judges and Coordinators will final and binding on all.

10. The participants should specify the name of the BOT before the event. 

11. The weight of the ball will be less than 10 gm and diameter is 5 cm.

Bot specs:-

​

1. The maximum dimension of the robot can be 30 x 30 x 30 cm (l x b x h).

2. The robot may be wired or wireless.

3. The length of the wire (for wired bots) should be at least 7 m long .

4. Maximum weight of the robot must not exceed 4 kg.

5. The robot should not hold the ball with any bounded objects.

6. The power supply will be provided of up to 12 volts.

Arena specifications:-

Round 1– DAY 1 :

1. Arena would be a rectangular stage divided into two sections A and B.

2. The BOT should start from “A” and reach “B” without any fail.

3. The maximum Height of zones would be 10 cm.

4. The maximum inclination of the arena would be 20 degree.

5. Arena would be open path in a closed space.

6. Zone “B” - Containing penalty area where the robot will kick the ball in the goal post by passing a goal keeper.

Round 2 – DAY 2 :

1. Second round will be soccer round in which participants qualified from first round are made into teams (two bot in each team) and play against each other.

Judging criteria:-

1. There would be two rounds.

2. First one would be single go round in which robot have to cross the obstacles along with a ball and reach to the penalty area and from 5 specified position the bot have to strike a ball towards the goal post. The bots that will cover the path in given time and with maximum number of accurate goal will be selected for the next round.

3. Second round will be soccer round in which participants qualified from first round will form a team (two bots in each team) and play against each other.

4. Wireless BOT will be given extra 20 points.

5. The BOT having self-made wireless system on bread board or PCB will get 20 more points extra.

Arena specifications:

  1. All dimensions are in Inches and mm as well read carefully

  2. Black Lines width: 24 mm Arena Size 96 Inches x 96 Inches

  3. Maximum ROBOT size :  9 Inches X 9 Inches

  4. Dimension marks will not be there in the final setup of competition arena.

Structure of Game :

  1. 4 teams will perform the at one time on the game arena.  

  2. Robot should start moving from START Points , and should stop at the HOME cell.

  3. Robot should navigate the diversified Black Line and should reach the HOME Point.

  4. Team is not allowed to touch the robot after start point.

  5. Robot should stop at HOME point.

Game Rules :

  1. Game Arena Background is White in colour

  2. All Lines are Black in colour

  3. All dimensions are specified in the Arena image

  4. Maximum 12 V, Power supply is allowed in the competition. Any team using power supply more than maximum limit will be disqualified immediately.

  5. External power supply is not allowed.

  6. Each team will have only 1 attempts

  7. All Matches will be on knock out Basis.

Scoring formula:

Team taking minimum time to score a goal will be declared as winner of the match and will be eligible for next round.

 

General Rules:

  1. A team can consist of a maximum of 4-5 members.

  2. Each team must have to declare a name for their machine at the time of competition.

  3. The machines you build will be first checked for size and safety.

  4. The machine must not contain any combustible, corrosive, or otherwise dangerous materials for safety reasons.

  5. No explosive compression or decompression, either internal or external is permitted.

  6. Judges have the right to disqualify any machine whose working mechanism or game strategy is considered hazardous in any way.

  7. In case any kind of dispute arises the judges' decision will be considered final and binding to all and no argument will be entertained.

Disqualification:

  1. During the Game, the team members are not allowed to touch the machine or the arena. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.

  2. Any kind of assistance through edges for locomotion will lead to a disqualification.

  3. Any kind of damage to the arena will attract disqualification.

  4. The teams will be asked to get ready 5 minutes before the start of the match. If a team is not ready within the stipulated time, this will lead to disqualification

  5. Judges have the right to disqualify any team if they feel the team is not playing with fair interests.
